TRI-CITIES, Wash.--Friday on SWX catch the Richland Bombers and Kennewick Lions. SWX has both the boys' and girls' games from Art Dawald Gymnasium. The Bomber boys are 4-1, while the Lions are 1-5, but the conference season is just a couple of games in, and now the schools in the Mid-Columbia Conference can really make their marks.
"We're excited to get back to league. We had a tough non-league stretch at Eastmont and Central Valley. So we learned some things about ourselves. We're just anxious to get back to league and get better," Richland boys' head coach Earl Streufert said.
"We just have to match their aggression level, hopefully exceed it. They're great shooters, a great program all the way through. They've got some young guys and experienced guys. We've got to make sure we close out on shooters, rebound with them and match that intensity," Kennewick boys' head coach Bradyn Leyde added.
