Presley's 27 Leads to WSU Win

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Tia Presley scored 27 points Sunday and Washington State defeated Arizona State 77-65.

Sage Romberg and Taylor Edmondson scored 17 points apiece for the Cougars (5-8, 1-1 Pac-12). Edmondson made all three of her 3-point attempts and Washington State was 7 for 11 from behind the arc.

Janae Fulcher led the Sun Devils (8-6, 0-2) with 23 points. Joy Burke added 14 points and Jada Blackwell had 11 points.

Washington State took the lead for good with just over a minute left in the first half on Presley's three-point play. That made it 34-32 Cougars and they led by as many as 14 in the second half.
