Dr. Stovall is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1976 with a degree in Microbiology. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1980 in the top 10% of his class and was elected to the AOA honor medical society by his professors. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency in 1984 at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.
He served 3 years in Nuremberg , Germany in the US Army. He was in private practice in Tacoma and Atlanta until 2001. He joined Spokane Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2007. He has been board certified in obstetrics and gynecology since 1987. Dr. Stovall's professional interests are infertility, high risk obstetrics, ultrasound, and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Stovall is married with 2 adult children. He enjoys golf, tennis, walking, and watching UT football.
