SPOKESMAN REVIEW.COM - A man with his pants pulled down to his ankles tried to enter a South Hill home in the early morning hours on Sunday.

The crime analysis division of the Spokane Police Department issued a public safety bulletin regarding the incident which took place in the area of 31st Avenue and Manito Boulevard.

The man, described as a white male in his 20s, between 5'8" and 5‘9" with a thin build, wore a two-tone jacket with a horizontal swoosh on the back, medium dark pants and a stocking cap with a fuzzy ball on top. Police said he didn't knock on the door of the residence, but tried to open the door while he had his pants and underwear pushed down to his ankles.

The resident looked out the bedroom window and saw the man run toward a stopped car. He slipped in the snow and got into the passenger side of the car, which left heading west on 31st.

The resident followed footprints in the snow and saw that they approached 15 to 20 other houses in the neighborhood. The tracks ended at 29th Avenue and Bernard Street.

SPOKANE, Wash. - One of the great parts about living in Spokane, is if you head out of town in any direction, you're going to run into some beautiful farm land. I grew up south of Spokane, near Plaza, and one of my favorite things to do was to sit on the porch at night and stare south towards Rosalia at all of the rolling hills of wheat, lentils, barley and peas. >>
