Caterpillar Comes To The Inland Northwest

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Inland Northwest has just added a very notable company to the region. Caterpillar, a notable parts distribution company that was reported to have made $60 billion dollars in revenue last year, just opened a brand new warehouse in Spokane Thursday.

The merchandise stored in the warehouse will be shipped all over the northwest and even Canada. This new warehouse has already started to boost jobs in the region with 150 workers having already been hired. The plant owners have said that the warehouse will operate six days a week. This warehouse is capable of containing fifteen football fields.

Brad Gile, the Facility Manager stated, "We've ramped up to over 150 people now and a great team and work force, with great support out of Spokane."

Washington State offered a reported "quarter million" dollars to Caterpillar in order for them to choose Washington over any other states that were being considered.
