UPDATE: Walgreens Robbed On N. Division

UPDATED PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: On January 14th a juvenile male was arrested in Spokane Valley in connection with the Walgreens Robbery that occurred on January 7, 2013. 

Shortly after a photograph of the suspect was provided to the community, Detective Rosenthal received multiple calls identifying the suspect. The juvenile male has been booked into the Juvenile Detention Center for the charge of 2nd Degree Robbery.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: On January 7, 2013, Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a robbery call at Walgreens located at 7905 N. Division. 

Deputies contacted an employee that told them at about 11:00 p.m., the male suspect in the surveillance video came in to the store and asked to use the phone. The employee told the suspect the only call that was authorized was to report an emergency to 911. 
 
The suspect walked back to the alcohol section where the employee saw him conceal a bottle of alcohol in his sweatshirt. The employee met the suspect at the front of the store where he pushed her down and ran from the store.
