Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. - Leigh Anne Tuohy spent an evening at "The Calm" in Spokane Thursday night, inspiring the audience and sharing her personal Blind Side observations on life.

SWX's Michelle Dapper sat down with Tuohy before the event for an exclusive interview.

Leigh Anne is best known for taking in homeless teenager Michael Oher, giving him the chance that led him to a Football career most kids only dream about. The 2009 film featuring Sandra Bullock, playing the part of Leigh Anne Tuohy, went on to become a record-breaking Hollywood blockbuster that became the number one opening weekend sports film in history.

Leigh Anne and her husband Sean (played by Tim McGraw) established their "The Making It Happen Foundation" which promotes awareness, provides hope and improves standards of living for all the children fighting to survive in the invisible cracks in society.
