City Of Spokane Seeks Proposals For 2013 Fair Housing Education Services

SPOKANE, Wash. - The City of Spokane's Community, Housing and Human Services (CHHS) Department is seeking proposals for public education activities to promote fair housing within the Spokane City limits. Grant funding of up to $7,000 is available for this project, which should take a positive, solution-oriented approach.

Fair Housing relates to attitudes and actions that provide equal non-discriminatory access to housing by all members of the community.  Interested parties should consult the approved City of Spokane Analysis of Impediments and address at least one identified impediment within their proposal.

The period of performance is six months, tentatively beginning March 1, 2013.  The budget is not to exceed $7,000. The Analysis of Impediments and the full request for proposals (RFP) is available on the CHHS Department website at www.spokanechhs.org  Proposals are due Feb. 1, 2013 by 5 p.m.
