UPDATE: Rosauer's Robbed On Spokane's South Hill; Suspect On The Loose

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: On January 22, 2013 at 12:22pm, Spokane Police responded to a robbery at the Rosauer's Pharmacy, 2610 E. 29th Ave. The suspect approached the pharmacy counter, demanded prescription drugs, put the bottles of prescriptions into a bag and fled the store.  Officers were unable to located the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20's, thin build, average height. He was wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt and wore a large white bandage on his chin. 

Store video surveillance captured several images of the suspect. SPD Detectives are asking citizens to review the photos and if they have any information as to the identity of the suspect, or have information regarding the robbery, they are asked to call Crimestoppers at 327-5111.

UPDATE: Authorities tell us that the suspect demanded drugs from the pharmacy. The suspect is described to be very thin in their 20's. It's not clear at this hour if the suspect is a man or a woman. The suspect is at large. There are no reports of any injuries. At this hour we're awaiting a press release.

Jamel Dunn drowned in a retention pond in the city of Cocoa on July 9. Cocoa police say they later discovered a group of teens recorded the 31-year-old's drowning on video. The video was released by the state attorney's office Thursday and audio was published by Florida Today.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A Spokane woman says she had a scary encounter Thursday morning with a man on the sidewalk. She was driving near Regal Street by Ferris High School when he lashed out and ended up throwing a rock at her. "It worries me that somebody is out there that can be that violent," she said. She wants to remain anonymous in fear of retaliation of what he might do. She says she was dropping off her son for a sports camp
