WSPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley Sheriff's Deputies are looking for an African American male, in his 20's, who robbed the Walmart at 5025 E Sprague early Thursday morning.
Deputies say the robber entered the Walmart just before 4 a.m. Thursday and was armed with a hatchet. He used the hatchet to break into an electronics display case and grabbed two iPads.
The robber then pulled out a gun and ran toward the exit. According to deputies, as he passed store employees, the robber waved the gun in the air and shouted at them, "Don't Tempt Me."
He jumped a fence and ran into a car. Right now deputies are looking for any evidence the robber may have dropped. They're also looking for the vehicle he was in, although deputies did not provide a description of that vehicle to KHQ.
As always, if you know anything call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
