SPOKANE, Wash. - On Thursday Rogers H.S. and Longfellow Elem. went into a modified lockdown because of a suspicious person in the area, according to the Spokane School District.
Apparently police pulled over someone in a truck on Empire near the two schools. The driver fled on foot and police were looking for him. A K-9 unit aided in the search. It's not clear if the suspect was armed. As soon as we get more details we'll post them.
