WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) - A Wenatchee woman suffered bite wounds to an arm and other parts of her body in an attack by a pit bull dog in her home.
Police say the dog belonged to a member of her household and was in the basement Wednesday when she went to check on it and was attacked.
The Wenatchee World reports (http://bit.ly/WxoNIo) officers with the Wenatchee Valley Human Society asked police for help. The dog was stunned with a Taser and then killed because it was so aggressive.
The 43-year-old woman is in satisfactory condition Thursday at Central Washington Hospital.
