KHQ.COM - Snow accumulations were light around Spokane overnight but varied in areas across the Palouse. Anywhere from an 1.5-2" around Moscow to close to 10" of snow in Deary, Bovill and Elk River. So areas of Latah County still hit the hardest. T

Today we will stay mostly dry with just cloudy skies until later this afternoon and overnight tonight. This moisture will follow the same track as the last so areas across the Palouse could see some light accumulations, maybe a dusting around the Spokane, CDA metro.

The mountains however...both the Blues and the Clearwaters are under advisories for tonight's system. 6-12" for the Blue Mountains and 4-8" in the Clearwaters.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, mostly dry, Snow showers late this afternoon. SW 5-10 mph. High: 33°

Overnight: Cloudy, Mixed showers. Light accumulations. Low: 28°

Wednesday: Cloudy with some mixed showers. No real accumulations expected. High: 34°

KHQ.COM - Mid August is about the time that we start to see spiders come into our homes, particularly the hobo spider. August and September is mating season for the hobo and that means you may be seeing more funnel-like webs in and around your home. Males are on a mission to find a female which is why they are a lot more active at this time.>>
