U-High Wins the 18th Battle of the Bone

SPOKANE VALLEY - The University Titans were just too much for Central Valley, as the Titans won the Battle of the Bone Thursday night.

University took the lead with an opening match win by 160 pound John Fairbanks. From there, the Titans jumped out to a 27-7 team lead thanks to pins by 285 pound Tate Orndorff and 106 pound Kwest Osborn.

University finishes the regular season at 8-1, while Central Valley ends it at 7-2.

University Head Coach Don Owen is now 6-2 when facing off with his brother and Central Valley Head Coach John Owen in the Battle of the Bone.

The Titans also move to a 13-5 all-time series lead.
