LATAH COUNTY, Idaho - The Spokane Bomb Squad was called to the Latah County Sheriff's Office to dispose of a small explosive that someone brought to the station on Saturday.
Police say Saturday afternoon at about 4:30 PM a person brought what appeared to be a small pipe-bomb type explosive device in an effort to turn it over to deputies. This forced an immediate lockdown and several streets were blocked as Deputies waited for Spokane County's Bomb Squad to arrive. The explosive sat in a car outside of the Latah County Sheriff's Office for over four hours, before it was disposed of safely by the Spokane County Bomb Squad.
