SPOKANE, Wash. - A man ended up in jail and the car he was driving ended up in the Spokane River early Sunday morning.
It happened on Upriver Drive in the area of Boulder Beach at about 1:30am. Police were called to the area after a resident called the incident in. Police say the driver, who is about 30-year-old, was in the car when it went into the river, but he was able to get out and flagged down a car for help. He was arrested for DUI and has not been identified.
