ATTENTION SPOKANE! Time To Vote For FREE Movies In The Park

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - It's time again to let us know what movies you would like to see for free Movies in the Park with the Spokane Valley Park & Recreation Department. The winning movies will be shown in Mirabeau Park in Spokane Valley on Saturday, July 20 and Saturday, August 17, 2013.

Just go to the City of Spokane Valley website at www.spokanevalley.org and select the link under "City News" no later than Friday, February 15 and choose your favorite three movies from those shown.  Or, if you would like to suggest a different movie that is rated PG-13 or under, just type it into the space provided. 

If you don't have access to the internet, you can cast your vote by phone.  Call 720-5408 during regular office hours, or email jpapich@spokanevalley.org with your choices.

Movies offered include:

·         The Amazing Spiderman - rated PG-13

·         Brave - rated PG

·         Grease - rated PG

·         Hook - rated PG

·         Hotel Transylvania - rated PG

·         The Lorax - rated PG

·         Pitch Perfect - rated PG-13

·         Rise of the Guardians - rated PG

·         Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory - rated G

·         The Wizard of Oz - rated G

·         Wreck-It-Ralph - rated PG

Winning movies will be announced in the Spokane Valley Parks & Recreation Spring/Summer Recreation Guide, which will be distributed around the end of March.
