Woman Arrested On Burglary Charges After Barricading Herself Inside Home

SPOKANE, Wash. - A woman was arrested Monday night on burglary charges after breaking into a family member's home.

Police say they received a call from a neighbor near the intersection of Lacey and Wellesley about a woman breaking into a home. When police arrived the woman barricaded herself inside the house and refused to come out. Police were eventually able to get inside the home and escort her out.

She was taken into custody and taken to the hospital for treatment of minor wounds she received while breaking into the home. She will then be taken to jail.
