TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Police say a Tacoma man choked his sons, ages 9 and 10, for being up past bedtime.
The man was restrained by a relative and police were called to the apartment about 1:15 a.m. after neighbors a half-block away reported hearing yelling and fighting.
The News Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/VuhTI5 ) officers used a Taser to control the 32-year-old man who apparently had been drinking. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail for investigation of child assault and resisting arrest.
The boys and two girls, ages 6 and 7, were checked at a hospital. An 11-month-old boy also was removed from the home and placed with Child Protective Services.
