SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male Tuesday night for assault after he allegedly stabbed his mother in the head multiple times.
It happened just after 7:00pm when the 13-year-old son called 911 saying his brother was stabbing his mother. Police arrived on scene and quickly located and arrested the 16-year-old. The mother was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Police say most of the wounds happened on the skull, which was actually a good thing because it prevented the blade from hitting anything vital.
The 16-year-old was taken to jail on 1st degree assault charges.
