SPOKANE, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol tells KHQ that a driver took off speeding after running a red light at Francis & Division early morning Thursday morning.

The driver later crashed into a home at Wellesley & Lacey. There was a passenger in the vehicle. Both the passenger and the driver were transported to the hospital. The driver, who has not been identified, will be arrested upon release.

Troopers tell us that the male suspect has minor injuries, but his female passenger has injuries that are worse. None of those injuries are life threatening.

There is heavy damage to the home. We're told that the suspect crashed into a parked car and a car on the road before crashing into the home.
