U.S. Geological Survey: Strong Earthquake Rattles Southern Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - There are no reports of damage after a strong earthquake shook southeastern Alaska early this morning.
    
Scientists with the U.S. Geological Survey say the 6.0-magnitude quake was centered in the ocean, about 200 miles south of the capital Juneau. The quake was felt across the region.
