Tri-City can take advantage of soft spot in schedule

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-City Americans still sit just one point behind the Spokane Chiefs for fourth place in the WHL Western Conference Standings. But the boys might be getting a little bit of help...from the schedule. Including last night's win over Prince George, the Ams have an opportunity to take 6 points against the league's worst three teams while Spokane faces the leagues top few including the Portland Winterhawks. The Americans don't think it's that easy.

"Well we look at every game the same way, every team in this league is, good. Every team is good competition for us," said Justin Feser, Americans Captain.

"Well if you look at our schedule I don't think we've had any easy games this year. So we look at every game being as difficult as the next one. Everett's beat us...everybody's seemed to beat us that played us, we're not infallible that way," added Jim Hiller, Americans Head Coach.
