BLAKE JENSEN: For the most part this morning looks to be a pretty calm one. We are seeing some light snow and rain/snow mix showers over the N. Panhandle near the Silver Valley, some light rain around Pullman/Colfax but that's it.

In fact, like yesterday, I expect to see some areas of sun and clouds early in the day, especially across the basin, before increasing clouds later leads to more showers overnight and through tomorrow.

Around Spokane any accumulation would be VERY light and the best chance for that would be tomorrow morning. While areas in the NE Slopes of the Cascades, like the Methow Valley, could see 2-5" of new snow.

Wednesday: Areas of sun and clouds to start. Increasing clouds today. Mostly Cloudy and dry. SW 10-15mph. High: 40°

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, some light snow showers possible. Low: 31°

Thursday: Light AM snow, turning to rain snow mix. Total accumulation 5" High: 36°
