Chiefs Lose to Blazers, 7-4

Posted:

KAMLOOPS, B.C. -- A hat-trick from forward Mitch Holmberg wasn't enough Friday night, as the Spokane Chiefs lose on the road to the Kamloops Blazers 7-4. The Blazers used 3 power-play goals in the game to secure the win, out shooting the Chiefs 38-28. Tim Bozon and Kale Kessey each scored two goals for the Blazers.

Holmberg, who now has 30 goals on the season, provided most of the offense for the Chiefs but it just wasn't enough in the end.  Blake Gal added his 10th goal of the season late in the third period.

The other goal scorers for Kamloops were JC Lipon, Jordan Thomson, and Colin Smith.
