Head-On Crash Blocks Highway 902 For Hours

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol says charges are pending for one driver in a crash that blocked Highway 902 for nearly three hours Friday night.

Troopers say 76-year-old Judith Abbot of Medical Lake was traveling eastbound when she crossed the centerline and struck two cars head-on in the westbound lanes. Abbot and another driver involved were injured in the crash and taken to a Spokane hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

Troopers say drugs or alcohol were involved in this crash and charges are pending.
