Seven student-athletes have each signed a National Letter of Intent to compete in soccer at Washington State University beginning next fall, Cougar Head Coach Keidane McAlpine announced, Wednesday.

The signees include Ashlee Hanson (Elk Grove, Calif.), Kailiana Johnson (Renton, Wash.), Kaitlyn Johnson (Torrance, Calif.), Nicolle Marlow (Renton, Wash.), Madison Muzatko (South Jordan, Utah), Ayana O'Neal (Renton, Wash.) and Lianna Simms (Sammamish, Wash.).

McAlpine stated, "These recruits are a working-class kind of group that will add depth to our team. They bring a great character and personality that will fit in with our existing group.

"Every recruit understands that we are here to do something extraordinary, and they are being brought here to be a part of that. So from the day they said they wanted to be a Coug, they know that they are working to that end and have been held to that standard by themselves and by us. This group has the passion, the work rate, the aggression and the understanding of what we are asking of them going forward."
