North Central receiver Jake Hoffman and defensive lineman Joe Douglas, from Richland, Wash., were among those who sent Letters of Intent to play football at Eastern Washington Wednesday morning.

Thursday marked the first day high school athletes could begin putting their commitments to colleges in writing. The faxes started coming in early for the Eagles, whose commits hail mostly from the state of Washington.

Two recruits, Samson Ebukam and Matthew Sommer, are from Oregon. Both are defensive lineman. And three are from California.

Hoffman played defensive back and wide receiver at North Central and was the GSL All-Purpose Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
