KHQ.COM - Some stubborn
showers that started last night are still sticking around this morning. Mainly
between Spokane and Pullman, those are also the areas that saw 1-2" of
accumulation from this same cell last night. For the rest of the day there is
actually a "battle royale" going on between low pressure energy moving up from
the south and high pressure energy from the NW.
Eventually the drier high
pressure wins out. That means expect clearing starting from the north around
Sandpoint, Colville, Republic, Omak first and eventually reaching to Spokane by
the end of the day. Should stay mostly sunny ALL day across the central and
western Basin.
Friday: AM clouds
and showers, clearing to partly cloudy by the end of the day. Calm wind. High:
39°
Saturday: Isolated
showers across SE WA and Southern Panhandle. Foggy AM, Dry and Mostly Cloudy.
High: 36°
