Filmmakers Release Trailer of Documentary on WA Marijuana

Posted: Updated:

SEATTLE, Wash. - The producers of a documentary on Washington state's legalization of marijuana have put out a trailer for the film.

The filmmakers describe "Evergreen: The Road to Legalization in Washington" as an in-depth examination of Initiative 502 and the future of drug prohibition laws.  The film goes behind the scenes during the I-502 campaign, examining the controversies surrounding the public vote to legalize, tax, and regulate the recreational use of marijuana.

The filmmakers say the documentary will serve as a case study for citizens and lawmakers across the nation in working to reform drug policy at both the state and Federal levels.

The "Evergreen" trailer is viewable at evergreendocumentary.com and on YouTube.
