Charges Dropped for Final Defendant in West Valley Triple Murder

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- Yakima County prosecutors drop all charges against a murder suspect accused of  taking part in the slayings of a West Valley family in 2011.

Tracy Culton was the last remaining defendant accused of killing Bill and Pauline Goggin, as well as Bill Goggin's 98-year-old mother, Bettye.

In a press release, prosecutors say, "dozens of witnesses were interviewed that supported the alibi of Ms. Culton."

They go on to say she took a lie detector test and passed, when questioned about any involvement in the murders.

Last year, prosecutors also dismissed murder charges against Kevin Harper, the man who they said was the main suspect in the murders.

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is still investigating, but right now, they have no other suspects tied to these gruesome killings.
