Grant County Sheriff's Department Press Release:

MOSES LAKE, Wash. -  A 36-year-old Othello man is facing charges stemming from his involvement in the delivery of cocaine.

Erphen Sindhu Khan was arrested by the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team on Feb. 6 in the parking lot of The Home Depot in Moses Lake. Khan's arrest was the result of a six-month undercover investigation by Grant County's Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team. Search warrants were later served on Khan's vehicle and home located in Othello, Adams County, where other narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found.

Khan faces charges of four counts of deliver of a controlled substance (cocaine), and possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. The Moses Lake and Othello police departments also assisted in the operation.

INET is comprised of officers and deputies from the Grant County Sheriff's Office, Quincy Police Department, Moses Lake Police Department and the Washington State Patrol.

"The diligence of the INET detectives resulted in this cocaine bust," said Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones. "This case serves as an example that INET and other partnering agencies are a strong force targeting those who deal in illegal drugs."

The investigation continues.
