Boston, MA (PRWEB) February 13, 2013
PracticeQuiz.com continues to expand its free EMS exam preparation offerings. Today, the less than year old free test preparation website announced that it has added multiple new free quizzes for the National EMT Intermediate Cognitive Exams.
"We are very excited to offer more EMT practice exams," remarks Ted Chan, founder of PracticeQuiz.com, "We really believe in the importance of well-trained Emergency Medical Service personnel, and are proud to offer quality material to help them prepare for the Intermediate-level certifications."
The EMT-Intermediate level of certification is for advancing Emergency Medical Technician who have already achieved their EMT-Basic certification. The two levels of Intermediate certification are Intermediate-85 and Intermediate-99. Both include training in IV therapy administration and multi-lumen airway devices. I/99 is a higher level certification and includes cardiac monitoring and additional drug administration.
Requirements vary slightly from state to state, but include the completion of EMT-Intermediate level training based on the National Standard Curriculum. There is also a psychomotor examination and a cognitive examination.
Test-takers who take the free PracticeQuiz.com EMT-I test can get a gist of what exam content to expect on test day.
The website now boasts more than 80 free practice exams, with more expansion in the near future. Tests include certification exams, high school and college qualifications, and medical tests.
