UPDATE: Armed Robbery In Coeur d' Alene; 1 Suspect Caught, Another At Large

UPDATE: At least one suspect has been caught, he's identified as 39-year-old Michael Huckaby. One other suspect remains at large.

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE CDA POLICE DEPT: Coeur d'Alene Police officers responded to a robbery that occurred at the Ameritel Inn located at 333 W. Ironwood Dr. Preliminary information is two males entered the hotel and demanded cash from the front desk clerk. The males indicated they had a gun.

Two males fled on foot eastbound and were last seen near Mountain West Bank parking lot at Government Way.

More information will be provided as it becomes available. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Coeur d'Alene Police Department at 208-769-2320.

A brief description of the two male suspects is as follows:

1) Hispanic male, wearing a black hat, green jacket, blue jeans, carrying red backpack, 40 to 50 years of age.

2) Hispanic male, wearing a dark snow type jacket, dark jeans, carrying a dark colored backpack, 40 to 50 years of age.

COEUR d' ALENE, Idaho - On Wednesday afternoon CDA Police and the Kootenai County Sheriff's office responded to a report of an armed robbery that happened at The Ameritel Inn, off 95 and Ironwood in CDA.

Police tell KHQ that two males walked in demanding money and brandished a "weapon,"  it's unknown what kind it was.

The two males took off on foot heading east, police are now investigating and actively searching for the suspects.

There is surveillance video that police says shows their faces, as soon as we get those images we'll post them.
