Washington State Patrol: DUI Hit & Run Crash In Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol is investigating a DUI hit and run that happened in the area of Pines and Desmet on Friday morning. Troopers say that a pickup truck driven by an intoxicated male ran into a power pole and flipped on its side.

The man ran off and sheriff's deputies caught him a block away. He is under arrest for DUI and hit and run. No one was injured in the crash.

Troopers tell KHQ that witnesses estimated the car was going about 90-100 miles per hour.
