SPOKANE, Wash. - Streets in the area of Washington Ave. and York St. are now open in north central Spokane after two cars crashed into a home.
It happened just after 4:00pm Wednesday afternoon.
Spokane Police officers tell our crew on scene that they believe the driver of a black Mitsubishi was possibly street racing with another car when it collided into a Nissan Pathfinder, causing both to crash into a brick home.
At least two people were taken to the hospital with injuries. The extent is not yet known.
Commuters are being asked to avoid the area for the next few hours as the reconstruction crew does their work.
This crash remains under investigation.
