Fish And Game Officials Investigate Poaching Case In North Idaho

Posted: Updated:

DALTON GARDENS, Idaho - The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is investigating a case of poaching after eight deer had been found shot to death in the span of two weeks, three of which were found in the last three days.

Fish and Game officials say the problem is rare, because poaching rarely happens in city limits.

A large deer population in town is something neighbors have been concerned about for quite sometime.

Neighbors say that the deer are eating flowers, ruining gardens and causing other issues.

They are processing evidence to find out who is responsible for the poaching because they fear that neighbors could be at risk.

If you have any information about this you are asked to contact fish and game, or local police.
