Thursday: We start to see the first of several winter storms work its way through the Inland Northwest. This weaker storm looks to produce scattered showers throughout the day starting off as some light snow showers this morning (no significant accumulation), turning to rain/snow mix and rain showers by the end of the day. High: 40°
Thursday Night: Still scattered showers in the forecast and as we cool could see some very light snow accumulations. Right now projections stand between 1/4"-.5" of snow by tomorrow morning. Low: 31°
Friday: This is when it gets nuts. A second and MUCH stronger storm arrives by late morning/early afternoon. The good news...with the timing all the moisture is not really expected to accumulate in lower elevations. Spots above 3,000' could see some significant snowfall. By the time this storm is over the Clearwater Mts. and Blue Mts. could see between 8-14" of snow! Holy cow!
