SPOKANE, Wash. - The Chief of Spokane Police Frank Straub has re-opened the Knitting Factory. The Chief made the announcement alongside Mayor Condon and the COO of the Knitting Factory.

Both the Chief and the COO of the Knitting Factory said they came to an agreement to improve safety measures and have an open dialogue with the city and the Knitting Factory.

Straub would not comment specifically on the safety plans on the table. But the COO of the Knitting Factory, Greg Marchant, said that they are "rough" outlines.

Both the City of Spokane, Spokane Police and the Knitting Factory are pleased with the direction of action.
