KCSO Announces New Days And Hours For Concealed Weapons Permit Applications, Issuance

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office announces new days and times for issuance of Concealed Weapons Permits due to the high volume being processed and issued.
From January 1, 2012 to February 21, 2012, the Sheriff's Office processed 271 regular permits. During the same time frame of 2013, 655 regular permits have been processed.

The new days and times are as follows:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
-All new Concealed Weapons Permit applications and fingerprinting (civilian and
retired law enforcement)
-All renewal Concealed Weapons Permit application process (civilian and retired law
enforcement)

Monday and Friday
8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
-Pictures and permit issuance for approved Concealed Weapons Permits (civilian
and retired law enforcement)

This new schedule will begin Monday, February 25, 2013.
