KHQ WEATHER AUTHORITY: 1.5" of new snow fell at the Spokane International Airport yesterday but by the end of the day most of that had melted off. Today, rest assured, will be MUCH calmer.

In fact starting off the day with a beautiful morning. Partly cloudy skies and some sunshine as a short ridge of high pressure moves over. Another cold front is on the way though and we'll start to see an increase in clouds because of that by early afternoon. Best chance of some showers looks to be tomorrow, and most of those stay in NE WA, N. Panhandle of Idaho and NW Montana. Chance for some isolated showers around Spokane but NOTHING like yesterday.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy with a chance of Iso. Showers to the North. Low: 28°
 
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, Iso. Mixed Showers. High: 41°
 
After tomorrow we'll start to see a ridge of high pressure build...and while we still have some showers in the forecast for late week, temperatures will be MUCH warmer. In fact by Saturday temps look to be in the 50's!!!

    BREAKING NEWS - The Medical Examiner's Office has revised the death toll in the Moore, Oklahoma tornado from 91 people to at least 24 people.
    UPDATE: Originally the death toll was reported to be 91 people and counting, however, the Medical examiner's office revised the death toll from the Oklahoma tornado to at least 24 people. A spokeswoman said Tuesday morning that she believes some victims were counted twice in the early chaos of the storm.
