COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - A homeless man who was convicted of stabbing another man at a northern Idaho transient camp has been sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.

The Coeur d'Alene Press (http://bit.ly/WeVERo ) reports 56-year-old James Kountz was convicted last year of stabbing 43-year-old James Hoglen during an argument at a camp in Coeur d'Alene last June. Hoglen sustained a cut near his eye and three torso injuries but survived the stabbing.

First District Judge Benjamin Simpson in Kootenai County sentenced Kountz to 20 years in prison last week, but said he would be eligible for parole after four years.
