KHQ.COM - The male subject who was punched and found unconscious in the parking lot
of the Thai Lounge after a physical altercation on February 9th has died from the injuries he sustained.
On Saturday night, February 9, 2013, at 11:15 p.m., Spokane County
Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Thai Way Lounge at Fancher and Broadway on
an assault call. Initial information was the now deceased male was punched by a
second combatant and fell to the ground in the parking lot.
The second combatant left the scene prior to the deputies' arrival and was
not contacted. Thus far, investigators believe the second combatant punched the
decedent one time and left the scene driving a silver or gold colored Chrysler,
4-door, possibly a 300 series.
The decedent succumbed to his injuries on Thursday February 14th.
At this time, detectives have not been able to determine the identity of
the second combatant who was involved in the fight with the decedent or the
female he was with.
The second combatant was last seen leaving the scene with a female in the
silver or gold colored Chrysler 4-door. He is described as 6'00" with a thin
build with short darker colored hair (not blond) and was wearing a hooded
sweatshirt and baseball style cap at the time of the incident.
Anyone who hasn't been in contact with investigators and witnessed, has any

The investigation is on-going and the Medical Examiner's Office is the
point of contact for the release the identity of the decedent
