Pharmacy Robbed In Millwood; Suspect Still On The Loose

Posted: Updated:
MILLWOOD, Wash. - Spokane Valley Deputies are looking for a woman who robbed a grocery store pharmacy Saturday morning.

It happened at the Albertsons on Trent and Argonne just after 9:30am. Deputies say a woman wearing a big coat and a surgical mask walked into the store, told employees at the pharmacy that she had a gun and demanded drugs. The employees gave her the drugs she asked for and she walked out of the store. Deputies say it doesn't appear that an actual gun was displayed during the robbery, but they are reviewing security footage.

Deputies arrived quickly on scene, however were unable to locate the woman. It is unclear if she left on foot or in a vehicle.

A description of the suspect wasn't immediately available when KHQ crews arrived on scene, but as soon as deputies are done reviewing security footage and can provide us with any additional details we will be sure to update this story.
