Whitworth Men Draw Redlands In NCAA Division III Tourney

The Whitworth Pirate men's basketball team will face Redlands in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.  The game will be played Saturday at the Whitworth Fieldhouse, with a 7pm tip off.

This is the 7th straight tournament appearance for the Pirates who finished the regular season with a 24-3 record.  Whitworth beat Whitman 93-71 to win their 7th straight Northwest Conference Title.

The two schools met earlier this season at Chapman University, Whitworth winning 70-57.  Redlands finished the season 22-5 winning the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletics Conference tournament title.
