KHQ.COM - Happy March! And for today at least, it's going to FEEL like March! The ridge of high pressure we've been forecasting the last several days is finally starting to take shape. As that happens warmer air from the south is able to move in.

That means we could see our warmest day of the year so far with highs around Spokane expected to be in the low to mid 50s! Mostly dry and cloudy today but a chance for rain in our Northern Zones (Northport, Colville, Chewelah, Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry). Saturday looks mostly dry until late in the day when another strong cold front looks to bring breezy winds, cooler temps and lots of moisture.

Have a great day and an even GREATER weekend!

-Blake
