Tahola didn't score a single point until 7:32 in the second quarter, as Colton easily defeated the Chitwhins 77-15 Thursday at the State B tournament in Spokane.

The Wildcats scored early and often, smothering Tahola's offense into submission. On the other end of the court, Colton had its way with everything they wanted. They shot 44 percent from the field and got impressive performance from Jenna Moser and Paige Vincent, both of whom scored 14 points in the win.

Colton, with bigger team size, out-rebounded Tahola 51-34 and committed just 12 turnovers to Tahola's 30.

The Wildcats play Friday in the semifinals against Wilbur-Creston, who beat Shoreline Christian 55-52 earlier in the day.
