Sunnyside Christian has no problem with Columbia Adventist

Sunnyside Christian jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a 55-28 win over Columbia Adventist in boys 1B play at the State B Tournament on Thursday.

Alex Brouwer led a balanced attack for Sunnyside Christian with 15 points. Brian Broersma chipped in 14 points and Brant Bosma had 10 for the Knights, who shot 8-of-15 from behind the arc.

Columbia Adventist struggled to shoot all game, finishing just 10-of-33 from the field. The Kodiaks had just two assists.

Josh Rodriguez led Columbia Adventist with 10 points, while David Irias had six points and six rebounds.

Sunnyside Christian advances to a 7:15 p.m. game on Friday, while Columbia Adventist will play at 12:15 p.m.
