Big second half gives Neah Bay a victory

Neah Bay pulled away late in a boys 1B State Tournament game to beat Taholah, 69-45, and advance to the semifinals.

The game never got too close in the second half, as the Red Devils came out of the break on a 9-0 tear to take a 41-30 lead.

Four Neah Bay players scored in double-digits, led by 15 points from Ryan Moss. Taholah received 15 points from Keanu Curleybear.

Neah Bay advances to the semifinals to face LaCrosse-Washtucna-Kahlotus at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, while Taholah drops into a consolation bracket game at 2:00 p.m. against Soap Lake.
