From Seattle Insider:
James French donated money to the Seattle Children's Hospital just like anyone else. The only difference, French is homeless and spends nearly the entire year saving up $100 to donate to the hospital.
"I look through the world in a child's eyes and it's beautiful, and it's cruel and you know they got a lot of pain and suffering," French said as he struggled through tears. "So if I can do something minuscule to get them through whatever time frame to just be a kid."
French was able to save up the money both years by selling Real Change Newspapers.
"Money's not that important to me," said French. "Just being a human being and making somebody else's life happy."
This was the second year that French was able to donate the money and he said he hoped to be able to continue the donation annually as well as contribute more money if he is able.
